Spatial pattern and influencing factors of land border cultural heritage in China

Abstract This paper provides an analysis of China’s land border cultural heritage, aiming to offer guidance for its protection and development. The study compiled a comprehensive database heritage sites analyzed their mathematical characteristics based on quantity, type, quality. spatial pattern the was described using kernel density analysis, variability, correlation, while driving mechanism measured Geo-Detector model. findings revealed that areas China have total 1227 comprising two main types 18 subtypes. National accounted 22.74%, with ancient city ruins being largest type heritage. Southwest Northeast regions exhibited high-high clusters low-low clusters, respectively. Moreover, identified history administrative succession, evolution historical cultural, altitude, distance from city, population density, minority ratio, urbanization process, per capita GDP as significant factors impacting in China. Based these findings, suggests government should invest more improve transportation infrastructure areas, ensure dynamic inheritance promote joint development different research results will provide data support decision-making reference sustainable can new perspective management similar areas.
